I read a post on a forum this week, written by an individual who had spent the last ten years researching 2012, and my heart cried out to this person, man or woman it does not matter - and I do not know if they heard me or not - if not perhaps others did. Ministering on the internet can sometimes be like speaking into the wind. You never know how far or to whom your words may carry.
As I contemplated what message Yahweh might want conveyed this week to the flock in Her Ministry’s Newsletter, it was this that first came to mind.
In the post that was made, the individual said that they no longer wanted to know what they’d learned because it felt as if they’d been given a death sentence, like a patient being told they have only two years to live, and encouraged those reading to be careful what they sought out the truth about. That ignorance was bliss. They said that they wished they could unlearn all they had learned because they would be happier and could live out their days in peace.
Below is my reply, which is brief, but that I hope and pray gets the message across. It is the essence of our Ministry and it has been said many times before, but at the same time can it be said enough? I don’t think so.
“Is the world as we know it going to soon end? Yes. Does it have anything to do with the 2012 thing? No.
Actually, there is much reason for hope and I have been living with knowledge of the Truth for over five years now. Do I feel as you do? Not at all - because there's HOPE. I look forward to the destruction of evil and the balancing of the scales and the renewal of a world that has become nothing but complete chaos since being under the rulership of that tin god Satan.
(Name omitted), I don't know you but I'm writing you specifically because I want to relay this message both to you and any others who may be feeling downtrodden due to the state of the world today. Toss everything you've researched and learned about 2012 into the rubbish bin because truly, that is where it belongs. It doesn't matter and it contains more falsehoods than it does truth. Creation has been heading towards what we're in the midst of for a long time. Over 6,000 years now. It has been prophesied to occur, and it will. There is no stopping it.
While there is a plan for the destruction there is also a plan for the rebuilding and of eternal life lived in peace and harmony with all of creation. The here and the now, it's not important. What is truly important is the prospect of eternal life. There is also a plan in place for the rescue of the faithful.
It has nothing to do with man-made religion, traditions, color or race. It has to do with Truth and the good news is that it's not too late. There's still time to change and though it's not a lot of time, it's time. You are loved. You are wanted. But there are two conditions that must be met - a good heart condition, and a belief and acceptance of Christ as Lord and Savior.
It is not God's will that any should perish, which is why we have been asked to spread the good news in these End Times - so that there will be hope and, because the truth is a double-edged sword, so that all are warned.”
Ten years is such a very long time to research and come to believe in something that provides no hope at all. To me, it carries the telltale marking of Dawn’s inspiration - no hope for them, therefore no hope for those who believe the lies either.
“Wisdom is supreme—so get wisdom. And whatever else you get, get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7
The truth of the matter is that ignorance is not bliss, but hope is. And truth is. Hope is bliss because with the knowledge and understanding and the wisdom and Truth that Yahweh imparts to Her children that seek it and seek Her are what sustains us. Through it and as we grow to understand both the Truth and Yahweh and Her Way, we have reason to look forward to both an end and a beginning because we have now come to understand how the destruction of the old paves the way for the new.
Yes, I know it looks bad. Yes, I know that the future that we can see from here does not look bright. But look! Open your eyes! Look more closely now - do you see the light? It’s just over the ridge, through the darkness, and it’s burning brightly atop that mountain. Do you see? It is hope, and it will not be extinguished. Reach for it, reach for it...
