Who do you place your faith in; our Father in Heaven or fallible man? It should be Father and I'll tell you why. Since Christianity was borne through Christ's ministry during his time here on earth, man has not changed. We are all products of secondary sin, which is why our savior Christ Jesus laid down his perfect life for us; to save us from the eternal death sentence that awaited all of us had he not done so.
Every religious organization has a leader. A minister, elder, pastor, priest, rabbi, evangelist, prophet, grand pubah, whatever they want to call themselves; they lead and are considered Shepherds by Christ and Father. It didn't take long for Christ's message to get twisted and turned around and in this day and age it's even worse. Satan, the father of all lies has worked long and hard at deceiving and misleading people since even before Christ's death. It all started back in the Garden of Eden and he's had a very long time to study humans and understand how they think and work. That is how he's able to confuse, deter, mislead and ensnare so many people over such a long period of time and he doesn't discriminate. The Shepherds of this world are just as easily made victims of Satan's snare as the rest of us. If anything, it's the Shepherds who should be on guard even more as they are held to higher standards by Father and are in places of leadership; having more of a responsibility to Father and who are able to lead or mislead large groups of people at one time.
This is why our faith must always be placed in our Father in Heaven and NOT fallible man. When we read the Scriptures we must always look to Father and not man to discern them for us. Father speaks to us via His Holy Spirit and to our hearts, which are more than capable of discerning truth without the help of fallible man who is easily deceived by Satan and caught in his snare. Man can fail Father but Father does not fail man.
Psalm 56:4 In God whose word I praise, in God I trust, I will not fear. What can man do to me?
Psalm 56:3-5 in God I trust; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
If you haven't noticed yet, we are living in the Great Tribulation. And there are many, many false shepherds out there leading Christ's flock astray. It's not what man can do to you, but what Satan can do to man. Satan is putting in his last ditch effort to blind and deceive as many as he can because he's already lost the war with Father and he'd rather take as many as he can down into the Pit with him than go it alone. There are more false shepherds and wolves in sheep's clothing around us today than ever before. Satan has made this world we live in, his kingdom – but he will soon have to give it up when the hourglass runs out. That is why we must place all our faith and trust in Father and not fallible man. Man (and Satan) can do nothing to you if you guard your heart and your mind.
Psalm 4:23 Above all else guard your heart, for it is the source of life.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Place your faith in Father and not in fallible man. Not in man-made religions. Not in anyone but Father and Christ Jesus and let your heart be your guide. Let your heart discern truth via Father's Holy Spirit and do not rely on anything anyone tells you as truth until you've prayed and meditated on it. We are living in a world full of deception. Do not become a victim of Satan's snare.
