Imagine if you can that day though it was so long ago, when a man laid down his life for a ransom he didn’t owe. Of this undeserved kindness, it makes you wonder if today, there is a single man alive who’d suffer as he did that day. This gentle man, so good and true and so loved by our creator, who walked a path to show all of us that our own paths could be straighter. It was victory that was his that day as he is a warrior in his own right, defeating the powers of darkness with his own bright shining light. And as hard as Satan has tried to steal his glory away, to this day we do proclaim he is the life, the truth, the way! Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of faith, and pray that the paths we walk might one day be as straight. The remembrance of his sacrifice occurs but one day a year, when truly it should be every day that we recall with great revere. If anything is done at all take a moment just to say thank you for your sacrifice, Christ Jesus Savior and King.
Deuteronomy 6:4-7 “Listen, Israel: The LORD our God, The LORD is One. Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
What do these scriptures mean to you? Are they only applicable to the Israelites of Moses’ time, or do they apply also to today? They start off with saying we should love Yahweh and not only love Her, but love Her with all our heart, our soul and strength. Then they go on to instruct us on what we should do with the commands Yahweh gives us. So what is the tie in?
For me what comes to mind first is how Father is all things and being that She is all things, She is also Her Way. Her Way is the commands that She gives us, the lifesaving instruction that She shares with us and to love Father, is also to love Her Way.
In these scriptures Father encourages us to think about them, ponder them, discuss them and share them with our children and with one another. This shows just how She also wishes that we might understand them rather than just following them blindly. And to understand them, to understand Her Way, is to understand Father Yahweh in all Her glory. This is just one of the many things that I love about Yahweh, because though She asks that we follow Her commands, She also wishes that we learn and grow and understand and share in Her Way because believing in Her is also believing in Her Way, understanding its importance and cherishing it as we cherish Her.
Deuteronomy 6:17-19 “Carefully observe the commands of the LORD your God, the decrees and statutes He has commanded you. Do what is right and good in the LORD’s sight, so that you may prosper and so that you may enter and possess the good land the LORD your God swore to [give] your fathers, by driving out all your enemies before you, as the LORD has said.”
Father is not a dictator. She gives us the freewill choice to follow or not to follow Her commands. But it is not hard to make the right choice when we fully understand that the commands that She asks us to follow are for both our own good and the good of all Creation so that we might live in happiness, love and harmony with one another and all of Her creation.
The parallel in this Scripture is also in how it applies not only to the Israelites of the day and time when Moses led them out of Egypt, but also for today’s day of the End Times as we experience the Tribulation and soon, the Rapture and Armageddon, when our enemies (the wicked of creation, both in the physical and spiritual realms) are driven out (literally driven out of creation via death) and look forward to the establishment of the Kingdom. If we, the spiritual Israelites of today, do what is right now and remain faithful and obedient, we are promised entrance into the Kingdom and if we do what is right then in remembering Father in obedience to Her Way, we are promised Eternity.
Deuteronomy 6:20-25 “When your son asks you in the future, ‘What is the meaning of the decrees, statutes, and ordinances, which the LORD our God has commanded you?’ tell him, ‘We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, but the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a strong hand. Before our eyes the LORD inflicted great and devastating signs and wonders on Egypt, on Pharaoh and all his household, but He brought us from there in order to lead us in and give us the land that He swore to our fathers. The LORD commanded us to follow all these statutes and to fear the LORD our God for our prosperity always and for our preservation, as it is today. Righteousness will be ours if we are careful to follow every one of these commands before the LORD our God, as He commanded us.’
These decrees, statutes, and ordinances are Father’s Way. Currently, those of us on this Earth are slaves to a different Egypt just as the Israelites of the time were literal slaves to Egypt. Father is inflicting great and devastating signs and wonders and making Her name known, but righteousness will be ours if we are careful to follow Her commands.
Within the jigsaw puzzle of The Word is a roadmap to Salvation and we should embrace it. Our cherished Christ Jesus was the physical embodiment of The Way and we embrace him as our Lord and Savior as well. The signs and wonders act as direction on our path and the path leads us home and to Eternity.
These are things that we cherish, not only because they are the promise of life but also because our heavenly Father loves us enough to teach them to us. As we follow in Christ’s footsteps who also followed these commands and came to show us The Way, the Truth and the Light, cherish them, write them upon your heart, share them with your children and talk of them often.
Daniel 2:47 "The king said to Daniel, "Your God is indeed God of gods, Lord of kings, and a revealer of mysteries, since you were able to reveal this mystery."
I think that it’s important to understand that just because there are many mysteries, it does not mean that there are not answers. It simply means that there are things that are kept secret, or remains unexplained or unknown for a time. Interestingly enough, when looking at the definition of mystery, it also mentions that a mystery is something that is unknowable except by divine revelation and this is precisely what we will explore.
Creation is full of mysteries and it could be said, that for many even Father Herself is a mystery. For those of us who are a part of creation, these mysteries intrigue and for many, elude. When I think back to my childhood there were many things about religion that I did not understand. I was to accept them simply as mysteries, but in recent years I have learned that while mysteries exist, there is One who is also revealer of these mysteries and that is Yahweh.
It seems appropriate to me, that as the source of all knowledge that Father would reserve Her knowledge and reveal it only to those whom She choses. As we seek Her knowledge, understanding and wisdom, She also, via Her Spirit, searches our hearts to determine if we are worthy. It should be with all our heart and soul that we seek Her and let our intentions be chaste when we do.
Deuteronomy 4:29 But from there, you will search for the LORD your God, and you will find [Him] when you seek Him with all your heart and soul.
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
Romans 8:27 And He who searches the hearts knows the Spirit’s mind-set, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
It stands to reason, that if we seek Her knowledge for reasons that are not righteous in Her eyes that it will not be given. Throughout time Father has revealed many things, some to only a chosen few and She also keeps things hidden from many.
1 Corinthians 2:10 Now God has revealed them to us by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the deep things of God.
We have learned that this is one reason why The Word was created as a jigsaw puzzle, so that the revelation of its mysteries might be given to those of Father’s choosing and hidden from those who are undeserving. It is the Spirit that reveals, as it is also the Spirit that searches everything.
Psalm 25:14 The secret counsel of the LORD is for those who fear Him, and He reveals His covenant to them.
Matthew 7:7 [ Keep Asking, Searching, Knocking ] “Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”
To even be able to speak on this subject today reminds me yet again of how blessed I have been, to have come to know Father as I have and receive the instruction that has been revealed because where it left up to me I would not find myself worthy of receiving it. In a way the world has opened up for me because I see things in a different light. It is Father’s light that has been shed on many mysteries and it is She that has revealed them to me. And continues to...
I have also learned that Father does not reveal things all at once, but instead in small portions allowing time for digestion of these things before we are ready to receive more. So it’s also important that while we continue to ask, search and knock that we also realize that all things come according to Father’s timing and Her plan. While we should continue our quest we should also be ever mindful to not rely on our own understanding but instead allow Father’s knowledge, understanding and wisdom time and when it is given, accept it graciously and without demand because in time, all will be revealed by the revealer of mysteries Herself, Yahweh.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and rely not on your own understanding
Psalm 16:11 You reveal the path of life to me; in Your presence is abundant joy; in Your right had are eternal pleasures..
In a recent dream I was in a large field, standing waist high in wheat and a wire fence chest high between myself and the horizon that I could see just beyond it.
As I looked out over the landscape the whole sky opened up as if it was parted like curtains do in a theatre and there was an assembly of people positioned like a choir and they were all singing in harmony with one another and then angels entered above them flying in from the right and from the left. It was Father's Holy Family.
I gasped and began to walk forward and then I started to run (getting past the fence though I don't remember going under, through or above it.) through the field and towards this amazing vision for it took up the whole sky as far as I could see up and all the way to the ground. When I got closer I dropped to my knees and gazed upon it all in utter and complete amazement.
What is Harmony? It is Agreement, accord, harmonious relations. It is concord, unity, peace, amity, friendship. It is the blending of simultaneous sounds of different pitch or quality, making chords.
Living in Harmony
A Davidic song of ascents.
How good and pleasant it is when brothers can live together!
It is like fine oil on the head, running down on the beard, running down Aaron’s beard, on his robes.
It is like the dew of Hermon falling on the mountains of Zion. For there the LORD has appointed the blessing- life forevermore.
Father’s creation is a symphony of sight, touch, sound and smell. It was referred to by the angels at it’s creation as the “Gem of Creation” upon it’s inception and it’s no wonder that harmony would be required to complete it’s grandness.
The first definition given for the word harmony is agreement and in music, sounds must agree with one another in order to be pleasing to the ear. Right now, if you were to create music from what’s on the news each night it would be a disaster rather than a musical accomplishment.
2 Corinthians 6:15 15 What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
Romans 12:16 16 Be in agreement with one another. Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation.
Romans 15:5 5 Now may the God of endurance and encouragement grant you agreement with one another, according to Christ Jesus,
The two scriptures above provide much to ponder on. In the world today there are many disagreements and things that keep us from having commonalities with one another. There is very little, if any, true harmony among those of mankind. Those who live in harmony do not argue over truth, or hurt one another or create wars among the nations. The only path to true harmony is in Father’s Way because to be in agreement with Father’s Way is to follow it, and to follow it is to be an instrument that is harmonious with the orchestra of creation.
So what does all of this mean to us living in this day and age? How can we learn from it all and be in harmony with Father even now?
Yahweh, in all Her wisdom, is patiently and even painfully showing Her creation that it can be no other way but Her Way. Take note of all that you see and experience and recognize it for what it is - whether it be in accordance to Father’s Way or not and then imagine a life lived without the influences of evil. This is the life we are to inherit should we remain faithful; one in which we love God with all our heart, all our soul, and all our strength, and all our mind; and our neighbor as ourself. This is harmony.
Luke 10: 25-28 25 Just then an expert in the law stood up to test Him, saying, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" 26 "What is written in the law?" He asked him. "How do you read it?" 27 He answered: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself. 28 "You've answered correctly," He told him. "Do this and you will live."
It is never too soon to learn and begin living according to Father’s Way. Though we may currently live in a creation that is anything but music to the ears, the life we choose to live now can be in harmony with Father and Christ and the Holy Family. The life we live can create beautiful music to Father’s ears.
